Here is a table of best known distances of binary (n,k)-codes. It is a small part of what can be downloaded from an ftp site in the Netherlands (it is in .gz Gnu compressed format). The tables are maintained by A. Brouwer, who generates and updates these tables using very sophisticated techniques. His homepage has more information.
