"I think that NSERC was a great opportunity. I got experience analyzing research papers, applying theoretical concepts in applied situations , and creating code in Matlab to verify the efficiency and accuracy of my results. In addition, I was able to attend the Canadian Undergraduate Math Conference in Ottawa where I presented a talk on Convex Analysis."
