The Mathematics and Computing Science joint major provides a solid core education in pure and applied mathematics and computing science. Students will learn leading edge computing techniques and highly applicable mathematical skills for an exciting career or research opportunities in many technical fields. MACM joint major and honors programs are offered by Departmend of Mathematics and the School of Computing Science. Students are encouraged to consider Co-operative Education to explore valuable career related opportunites, apply classroom learning and enhance competitiveness in the marketplace. Flexbile options allow students to tailor the program to their interest and future directions. Students with a MACM degree are well prepared for graduate studies in either mathematics or computing science.
