Programs

Mathematics is a science of pattern and order. Mathematical training emphasizes powerful and versatile modes of thought including abstraction, critical thinking, logical analysis and problem solving. The mathematics program provides a solid core education in pure and applied mathematics. Flexible options allow students to tailor the program to their interests and future directions. Students will learn the latest theories, computational tools, modeling techniques to solve problems ranging from pure mathematics to applications in science, engineering, medicine and business. A Mathematics major can be completed with a Bachelor of Science degree.
