Research Interests

I work in the area of nonlinear partial differential equations and numerical analysis. I am also interested in the calculus of variations and optimization. Applications include mathematical finance and mathematical economics, optimal transportatation problems, fluid dynamics, combustion, atmospheric flows, and image processing.

My recent work has focused on numerical methods for the Monge-Ampere equation and for convex envelope.
