Math Outside the Box

This is an informal lecture and demo series for first and second year students curious about mathematics.  These talks are intended to show students the neat things mathematicians do - beyond calculus - and to give students a glimpse at the kinds of things studied in higher level mathematics courses.  In addition, attending Math Outside the Box is a great opportunity to meet other students interested in math, to chat with the advisor about opportunities in mathematics, and to enjoy a snack with faculty in an informal setting.

Math Outside the Box is held in the spring and fall terms at the IRMACS theatre.
