SFU Math Camp for Teachers

This years Math Camp for Teachers is July 2 - 5, 2013, at the SFU Burnaby Campus. The camp is sponsored by grants from the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS), and the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS).

The Camp is designed for teachers who teach mathematics in middle and high school.  This year's theme is Teaching Mathematical Modeling and Problem Solving led by France Caron from the University of Montreal. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops.

The camp registration fee is $100.  Includes lunches and refreshments.  Application deadline is June 21, and the application form is available here.

For participants from outside the Lower Mainland, there is a possibility of accommodation on campus ( http://www.sfu.ca/conference-accommodation/accommodations/index.html)
