Burnaby Camp Information

SFU-CMS-PIMS Burnaby Math Camp

The 2012 Math Camp starts at 9:00 on Tuesday, July 3rd, in room BLU 10011, at the SFU Burnaby campus.  BLU is Blusson Hall, which is between the E and C Parking lots, and very close to the SFU Transit Exchange.

Note that the SFU-CMS-PIMS Summer Math Camp is a day camp, and students are responsible for their transportation to and from the camp each day.

Lunches and snacks are provided.

Clothing:  Please be prepared for BC weather - we will have a tour of the SFU Burnaby campus on Tuesday!

Some activities will take place in IRMACS theatre which can sometimes be chilly due to air conditioning.  It may be a good idea to bring a sweater, even if the weather outside it warm and sunny.

Buses: For those travelling by bus, remain on the bus until the final bus loop (near Cornerstone building).  This is the closet stop to where camp activities will take place.

Parking: Short term (paid) parking is available in front of the Cornerstone Building.  For those looking for just a place to quickly drop-off and pick-up participants there is space at the western edge of the B-parking lot (one level down from Cornerstone parking).  Students can then walk to the Blusson Hall. See the link to the interactive campus map on the left.
